He is survived by: his significant other Kathleen Burns; his siblings, Delores Bradley of Oak Ridge, TN, Bill Adams of Danville, VA, Dennis Adams of Whittier, NC, Carolyn Williamson of Bryson City and Lynn Adams Ward of Bryson City; and his children, Heather Adams Monteith of Mills River, Bradley Adams of Bryson City, Jonathan Sherrill of Bryson City and Aleisha Kirkland of Bryson City.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
