With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hattie Panther (Bryson City, North Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmaline Driver and Sam Panther; her daughter Mona; and her granddaughter Tasha. She is survived by: her children, Beverly, Sammy, Pam and Ernie Pheasant; her grandchildren, Callie (Ster), Tristen, Kyle (Grace), Dustin, Bill, Malaki and DJ; her great grandchildren, Kayandra, Austin, Eli, Hypatia, Jayden, Anna, Dolly, Tristen Jr., Kylex, Maddox, Ernie Jr., Auri, Harley and Charli; her great great grandchildren, Daeohna, Amiri, Avanna, Ace and Wayne; and her siblings, Sonny, Rick, Kenny, Jim, Alice, Patsy, Gloria, Debbie Panther, Loretta, Jean Bradley, Snake, Floyd, Earnest Panther, Charlie Davis, Tommy, Nickey Driver, Wilma, Nora, Alma and Nita.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Straight Fork Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
