With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Riley Ledford (Bryson City, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Ledford and Cordelia Murphy Ledford; his siblings, James, Virgil, Charlie, Moses Jr. Ledford and Polly Ann; and his grandchild Casandra Tolley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cyndi Lambert (Patrick), April Ledford and Misty Ledford; the mother of his children Ruth Cox; his grandchildren, Gina, Nelson Lambert, Cynthia Wagavatoga, Alisha Nicole Jenkins, Michael Warren Wilnoty, Jr., Justin Jenkins and Brandon Jenkins; his sisters, Irma Bradly, Mary Betty and Carol Howard; and his close friend Nancy Wolfe. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
