He is survived by: his wife Denise; his grandchildren, Keelie Smoker (Creighton), Kaleb Smoker (Taryn), Chloe Owle and Shiann Lunsford (Matt); his great grandchildren, Barrett, Koa Smoker, Mason, Ella and Ezra Lunsford; his siblings, Patty Ballard of Jacksonville, FL, Buddy Lambert (Deb), Mark Lambert (Sherry) and Lumpy Lambert (Tia); and his daughters, Melanie, Jessica, Bonnie, Sarah, Melissa, Rae, Amanda and Summer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cherokee United Methodist Church (2 Echota Mission Dr, Whittier, NC 28719). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
