He is survived by: his wife Donna Higdon; his daughter Jenny Higdon May (Kevin) of Sylva; his granddaughter Jordan Elizabeth Ewing (Michael) of Rougemont, NC; his great grandchild Weston James Ewing of Rougemont, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Dakotah May and Jarrett May.
