She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Leonard Hawley and Elizabeth Moss Hawley; her husband Jonah Hawley Jr.; her siblings, James Roosevelt Hawley, Edward Lee Hawley, Leonard Hawley, Irvin Hawley, William Hawley, James Thomas Hawley, Rudolph Hawley, Eddie Hawley, Peggy Cheatham and Emma Hawley Chavis; and her son-in-law Kenneth Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy E. Hawley (Brandon) of Franklinton, NC, Joann Daniel (Jason) of Oxford, NC, Tonya McCaden of Durham, NC and Donnise McCaden; her siblings, Mary Catherine Clement of Henderson, NC and Cleveland Hawley of Henderson, NC; her sisters-in-law, Alice Hawley of Norfolk and Ida Hawley of Henderson, NC; and her close friend Donnell Cooley. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, other loving relatives and caring friends.
