He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Brown and Ellen Rae Morrison Brown; his wife Flora Stone Brown; his sons, Kenneth Darrell Stone and David Wayne Stone; his siblings, Gladys Jean Brown and Thomas Norris Brown; and his grandson John Christopher Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel W. Brown (Kathy) and Mary Ellen Brown; and his sister Linda Rae Desrosiers. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
