He is survived by: his wife Carrie McIntyre Jacobs; his children, Darryl Jr., Sheldon (Nicole), Adrien, Tammy, Lauren and Myla; his stepson Rachard; his grandchildren, Maleah, Arianna, Jayden and Robert; his siblings, Alfonzio Jacobs Sr. and Ethel D. Jacobs Briggs; his foster brother Lorenzo McKoy; his aunts, Myrtle McNeill and Hattie Jones; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Watkins, Annie McIntyre and Roy Paige; and his cousins, Oglatha Banks (Charlie) and James Avon Newkirk Sr. (Doris). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many treasured friends.
