He is survived by: his wife Pamela Matthews Oswald; his children, Dawn Bentz (Steve) of Wilmington, Kimberly Boyette (Charles) of Willard and Ryan Oswald (Danielle) of Lake Wiley, SC; his grandchildren, Randall Hall (Jessica), Steele Oswald, Haskill Oswald and Jackson Oswald; his great grandchild Lillian Brooke Hall; and his niece Anna Matthews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Friendly Community Baptist Church (1730 US-117, Burgaw, NC 28425).
