It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Morton of Burgaw, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rodolph Morton and Matilda Morton; and his sisters, Elsie James and Elizabeth Morton. He is survived by : his wife Naomi Morton; his sons, Andrew Morton (Mary) of Elm City and Nathan Morton (Heather) of Alexis; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Melanie, Nathan, Samuel and Cameron. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Burgaw Baptist Church (100 E Bridgers St, Burgaw, NC 28425).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Burgaw Baptist Church.
