He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Eustice Murray and Annie Gertrude Padgett Murray; and his stepmother Bernice Murray. He is survived by: his cousin Ernie Padgett; his friends, Neil Moore and Willie Moore; and his caregiver Heather Harrell.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery (4682 US-117, Burgaw, NC 28425).
