He was predeceased by : his parents, George Blackburn and Flonnie Mae Ivey Blackburn; his wife Shirley Lanier Blackburn; and his daughter Shiela Blackburn Cowan. He is survived by : his children, Jimmy Blackburn, Brenda Blackburn and Dean Blackburn (Patience); his son-in-law Victor Cowan; his grandchildren, Lisa Burget (Cody), Kimberly Fisher (Brandon), Megan Shoecraft, Samuel Cowan (Clair), Tony Horne, Jr. (Heather), Vanessa Watkins, Clint Blackburn (Jayde), Gatlin Blackburn (Jaliese), Jackson Blackburn and Emma Grace Blackburn; and his great grandchildren, Dustin Day, Jamison Burget, Lauren Thornton, Iris Fisher, Aris Fisher, Mavis Fisher, Anthony Lowery, Ivy Watkins, Annsley Horne, Analeise Rivenbark, Hardy Blackburn, Lane Blackburn, Ivey Cowan and Waylon Cowan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
