He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Turlington and Nellie Turlington; his son Jackie V. Turlington, Jr.; and his sister Joyce Denton. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his son Jeffrey Paul Turlington (Erika); his stepdaughter Sunna Brown (Timothy); his grandchildren, Leah Zuver (Zachary), Shanon Turlington, Austin (AJ), Perdew (Mackenzie) and Sydney Frizzelle (Cody); his great grandchildren, Kayden, Brylee, Silas, Nathan, Mason, Lilly and Maren; and his siblings, Floyd Turlington (Alice) of Coats, NC, Faye Cornell of Tucson, AZ and Elizabeth Cockrell (Libby) of Angier, NC..
