He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Baker, Sr. and Elizabeth Lacy Hickman Baker; and his brothers, Robert Lee Baker Jr., Gary Lee Baker, Jerry Wayne Baker and Michael Leonard Baker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Johnny Baker (Nancy), Billy Ray Baker (Teresa), Peggy Baker McPherson, Judy Baker McPherson and Brenda Baker Phillips (Bobby); and his close friend Timothy Patram. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Church (185 Calvary Church Rd, Sanford, NC 27332). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
