She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Thigpen and Betty Bowden Thigpen; and her brother Dicky Thigpen. She is survived by : her husband Glenn Hurt; her son Jeffery Hurt (Bobbie Sue) of Harrells; and her siblings, Jimmy Thigpen (Carol) of Burgaw and Louise McManis (Mack) of Wilmington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
