She is survived by: her husband Glenn Hurt; her son Jeffery Hurt (Bobbie Sue) of Harrells; and her siblings, Jimmy Thigpen (Carol) of Burgaw and Louise McManis (Mack) of Wilmington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
