She was predeceased by : her parents, Cornelius Neil Bodiford and Elizabeth Edwards Bodiford; her husband Wiley Foster Edwards; her son William Foster Edwards; and her siblings, Robert Bodiford, Frank Bodiford, Oscar Bodiford and Annie Bodiford Risen.

She is survived by : her daughters, Margaret Williford (Daniel) of Garner, NC, Delores Prevatte (Jim) of Fairmont, NC, Barbara Evers (Jeff) of Burgaw, NC and Shirley Gainey (Ernie) of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
