She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Margaret Howard Brown; her nephew Darren Casteen; her siblings, Richard Brown and Betty Casteen; her brother-in-law Robert Wells; and her niece Jacklyn "Jackie" Wells McClain.
She is survived by: her sister Julia Ann Brown Wells; her brother-in-law James "Jimmy" Casteen; her great-niece Kelsey Wood (Dakota); her great-nephew Jason McClain; and her pet Rocky.
