He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Dennis Quinliven and Lena Bonita Ford Quinliven. He is survived by: his wife Adella Berg Quinliven; his children, Patty Ray (Gary), Peter Quinliven (Marcy), James Quinliven, Jenine Quinliven, John Quinliven (Yvette), Dennis Quinliven and Teresa Quinliven; his grandchildren, Nathan Ray (Aubri), Tabitha Marks, Elisabeth Ray, Bridget Ray, Jennifer Kempton, Karen Quinliven (Matt), Henry Quinliven, Jyssica Weishtinger, Kyle Whidden and Haydn Quinliven; and his brother Pat Quinliven. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
