It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvina James (Burgaw, North Carolina), who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Melvina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melvina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church (1440 Webbtown Rd, Maple Hill, NC 28454). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
