It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Carl McCoy of Burgaw, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Archibald Frederick McCoy, Sr. and Lessie Eugenia Murray McCoy. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Dixon McCoy; his daughters, Carlette M. Stanley (Damon), Amy M. Everett (Kevin) and Gloria M. Harvey (Erik); his grandchildren, Jessica Stanley, Jeremy Stanley (Hunter), Erin Harvey, Erica Harvey and Trent Harvey; his great grandchildren, Magnolia and Junior; and his siblings, Judy Andrews (Floyd), Diane Boswell and Fred McCoy (Janice McCoy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Park (9332 US-117, Willard, NC 28478).

In lieu of flowers the family kindly request that memorial gifts be given to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
