We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Yates of Burgaw, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Claflin Garst and Ruth Mosier Garst; her husband DeWitt Yates; and her siblings, Mary Sheppard and Claflin Garst Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Robert Yates of Ormond Beach, FL and Elizabeth Yates Barnard (Charles) of Raleigh; her granddaughters, Caroline Barnard and Grace Barnard; and her nieces and nephews, Lynn Sheppard-Carter and Greg Sheppard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Burgaw Presbyterian Church.
