She was predeceased by : her parents, William Alfred Griffin and Grace Witherington Griffin; her son Robert Alfred Harvell (Al); and her siblings, Dorothy Atkinson and Franklin Delano Griffin.
She is survived by : her daughters, Patricia H. Boykin and Wanda H. Marks; her son-in-law Chris Marks; her grandchildren, Lea Ann Cook (Larry R. Cook) and Daniel Carr Boykin (Susan); her great grandchildren, Skyler Boykin, Savannah Boykin and Sarah Carr Henley Cook; and her sisters, Eleanor King, Kay Kenan, Barbara Bradshaw (Glenn), Jo Wilson and Martha Cabral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sarah's memory to Potts Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund at 2453 Crooked Run Road, Willard, NC 28478.
