He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hubert Lewis and Flora Belle Rasberry Lewis; and his brothers, Bobby James Lewis, Jimmy Wayne Lewis and Jerry Rasberry.

He is survived by : his siblings, Janice Sue Casey and Terry James Lewis (Teresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
