With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Tiede of Burgaw, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vincent Borgman and Sarah Borgman; her sister Alice Jean O'Toole (Tom); her former life partner Joe Tiede; and her son John Tiede (Cindy).

She is survived by : her sister Rebecca Borgman Brookes; her daughters, Sally Butler (Bob) and Susie Newberry (Al); her grandchildren, Brooke Newberry (Ryan), Brad Butler (Rebecca) and Will Newberry; her great grandchildren, Berry, Chloe, Henry and Hope; and her pet Georgie.
