It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Bryan Dees of Burgaw, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Register and Elizabeth Anne Batson Dees; and his sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Dees Noll. He is survived by: his wife Ann Trainer Dees; his daughters, Alice Dees Leenhouts (James) of Banner Elk and Anne Claire Dees of Asheville; his granddaughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" Margaret Leenhouts and Eloise Claire Leenhouts of Banner Elk; and his brothers, Robert R. Dees (Marsha) of Burgaw and R. Brent Dees (Cherie) of Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church or the Pender County Humane Society.
