It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Milford Irwin (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Charles Irwin and Ruth Beryl Irwin; and his brother Bill Irwin. He is survived by: his sons, Keith Alan Irwin of Martinez, GA and David Brian Irwin (Heather) of Knoxville, Maryland.; his wife Kathleen Kay Livingston; his grandchildren, Landon, Davis and Sara Eve; his siblings, Kay Lindley (Harold), Bette Jane Otto (Bruce), Colleen Browning (Jim) and Gary Irwin (Sue); and his sister-in-law Diane Irwin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
