He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Smith and Imogene E. Smith (Hudson); and his brother Daniel J. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Henderson Smith; his children, Jennifer Welch (Tim) of Burlington, Heather Wright of Burlington, Laura Jones (Matt) and Alfred Smith; his granddaughter Chloe Wright (Twon) of Burlington; his great grandchild Myheir; and his sister Judy Elaine Barrett.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Belmont Baptist Church (3032 Bellemont Mount Hermon Rd, Burlington, NC 27215).
