She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayborn Turner Brown and Rosa Lee Sellars Brown; her husband Willie Ed Clark, Sr.; her sons, Alvin "Dino" Leon Clark, Sr. and Robert "Bay Bay" Anthony Clark; her grandsons, Antoine Dupree Crawford and Willie Ed Clark, III; and her siblings, Floyd "Toot" Brown, William and Jean Crisco.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley "Chelle" Walker (Toney, Sr.), Willie Ed Clark, Jr. (Mia), Michael Lee Clark and Phyllis Marie Clark; her grandchildren, Kristian Gant, Kelly Marie Clark, TJ Willis, Toney "Tee" Walker, Jr., LaToya "Toy Toy" Clark of Alvin Leon, Clark, Jr. and Michael Clark, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Genora, Kamari, Zamarion, Se'Darian, Sa'Niyah and Melody Rose; her siblings, James Lafayette Brown, Sr. (Denise), Sallie Mae Thompson (late Jimmie) and Rose Ann Watson (late Sam); and her daughter-in-law Angela Thompson-Clark.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
