She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jones and Beulah Stadler Massey; her siblings, Nina Simmons, Elmer E. Massey, Raymond W. Massey and Mack W. Massey; and her siblings-in-law, Doris King Massey, Martha Crouse Massey, Nora Youngblood Massey, Charles "Eb" Edwin Hill and Clyde Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynette Lenard of Naples, Billie Brooks Kissel (Wolfgang) of Morlenbach and Carolyn Brooks Winfrey (David) of Rougemont, NC; her grandsons, Jeffrey Lenard (Nicole), Michael Kissel (Gisela), Daniel Kissel and Joseph Winfrey; and her great grandchildren, Maggie Lenard, Edda Kissel and Baby Kissel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Samaritan's Purse, In-Touch Ministries by Rev. Charles Stanley, or the Hock Hospice Facility in Durham.
