It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Timothy Curry Sr. (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marshall "Fuzzy" Curry and Vera Ray Gauldin Curry; his wife Julie Curry; his siblings, Mike Curry, Dick Curry, Velma Smith and Diane Joyce; his nieces, Tanya Smith and Crystal Proctor; and his nephew John Walker.
He is survived by: his son Alvin Timothy Curry Jr.; the mother of his child Debra Boyd; his close friend Terry Edwards; his siblings, Jimmy Leon Curry (Carol), Agnes Hensley (Mike), Becky Sands, Donna Johnson, Sandra Caudill and Sheila Mims (Mark); and his sister-in-law Odessa Curry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
