She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Jones Sr. and Ola Mae Watson Jones; her brothers, Wilson Jones Jr., Roger Jones and Anthony Jones; and her son Ricky Blackwell Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Dionne Crawford (DJ) of Mebane, Martina Blackwell of Burlington and Janelle Blackwell of Reidsville; her sisters, Priscilla Ann Summers (Micky) of Burlington and Rose Wilson of Mebane; and her niece Ava Vanhook (Ken) of Hillsborough. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
