With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ardith Cecilia Shoffner (Burlington, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Rhodes and Esther Wake Taylor Joyner; and her sister-in-law Doris Joyner. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Shoffner; her brothers, Kelton, Gilbert and Marshall (Molly); her sons, Robbie Shoffner (Jill) and Nolan Shoffner (Kate); and her grandchildren, Parker, Mia (Josh), Lauryn, Evan, Brody, Colby, Camden, Kallan, Cat and Rosebud.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The St. Paul's Lutheran Church Social Ministry or to The Burlington Animal Services.
