She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ferrell and Jane Moize Ferrell; her husband Alan Cox; and her sons, Billy and Patrick Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Robyn Cox; her grandchildren, Trenton and Autumn Shields; her great grandchild Raelynn Shields; and her sister Becky Swearingen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Funeral & Cremation Service (306 Glenwood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials made in her honor be made to Hospice of Alamance County or the Burlington Fire Department Firefighter Fund, where her grandson Trenton works.
