With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Penny of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Penny, Sr. and Fannie Sue Herbin Penny; her husband James King; and her brother Issac Penny, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jamie King (Rita) of Burlington, NC and Thomas King of Burlington, NC; and her sisters, Pattie Moore of Burlington, NC and Lillie Mae Slade of Burlington, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
