She is survived by: her children, Montrel Compton, LaQuan Knox and Kentrell Compton; and her siblings, Alma Knight, Elma Stanfield, Ulysses "Peter" Dewer (Wilma), Roy Dewer (Pam) and Willie Walker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Due to COVID-19 and OTHER VIRUSES FACE MASK are advised for Services.
