She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Lee Poteat; her son Russell Poteat; and her parents, George Russell and Bertha Love Russell. She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Poteat of Burlington, NC and Naomi Poteat of Graham, NC; her sister Charlotte Richmond of Roxboro; her grandchildren, Tim Perkins of Greensboro, NC, Tonya Enoch of Gainesville, FL, Jason Enoch of El Paso, TX and Shelton Poteat of Familiar, MO; and her great grandchildren, Shelton Poteat, Jr. of Familiar, Jason Enoch, Jr. of Manheim, Germany, Jaylene Incognito-Biuso of Manheim, Germany and Alicia Incognito-Biuso of Manheim, Germany. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
