It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsy Jones Stubblefield (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Luther Jones and Esther Lee Jones; and her siblings, Thelma, Grace, Vernon, Leo and Gary.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Scott Stubblefield; her daughters, Vivian Stubblefield Payne (Doyle), Vickie Stubblefield Hicks (Gary) and Jacqueline "J. J." Stubblefield May (Todd); her grandchildren, Scott Payne (Rebecca), Wesley Payne (Justine), Elizabeth De Los Santos (Benjamin), Jessica Hicks, Katie Hicks, Yates May and Jack May; her great grandchildren, Henry Payne, Hunter Payne, Hudson Payne, Sonny Payne, Adalyn Payne, Benjamin De Los Santos and Marian De Los Santos; and her brother Charles Jones.
