He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Grace Michael Crane of Virginia; and his siblings, Wayne Crane and Linda Hilton. He is survived by: his wife Melba Kaye Hensley Crane; his sons, David Crane (Joelle) and Aric Crane (Heather); his grandchildren, Megan Crane Whitman (Brad) and Adam David Crane; his great grandchild Adley Kaye Whitman; and his sisters, Sue Menefee (Bobby) and Margie Adams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
