He is survived by: his wife Joyce Frizell Smith; his daughter Laverne Smith Thompson (Lindale) of Sneads Ferry; his grandsons, Samuel Jacob Smith of Burlington and William Avery Smith of Burlington; his daughter-in-law Jamie Smith Deem of Burlington; his granddaughter Crystal Lynn Overton of Greenville; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Christopher Overton of Greenville and Chloe Jade Overton of Greenville.
