He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Green Brown and Beverly Sumner Brown; and his wife Janice Capps Brown. He is survived by: his children, Revonda Johnson and Michael "Mike" Brown; his grandchildren, Travis Johnson (Fania), Mary Brown and Madelin Brown; his great grandchildren, Theo Johnson and Elena Johnson; his siblings, Jane Faulkner (Ralph), Roger Brown (Ruby) and Ronnie Brown; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Cartwright (J. R.) and Shelia Porterfield (Andy); and his siblings, Carol Shields and Ken Brown.
