He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wallace Lyon and Margaret Brantley Lyon; and his siblings, Jimmy Lyon, Judy Holt, Janice Williams and Betty Jo Hance.
He is survived by: his spouse Ceciliah Toney Lyon; his children, Kim Lyon McCandless, Bobby W. Lyon, II and Danny N. Lyon (Maranda); and his grandchildren, Austin McCandless, Phillip McCandless, Blake McCandless of Bobby, Lyon, III, Cassie Lyon, Hannah Grace Lyon, Emma M. Lyon and Rylee Lyon.
