She is survived by: her children, Octavia Gail Matthews, William Kirk Matthews Jr. (Karen) and Tiffany Antoinette Matthews; her grandchildren, William Kirk Matthew III, Nia Antoinette Stroud, Patrice Hardy and Brittany Sanders; and her former husband William K. Matthews Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great-nieces and great great-nephews.
