We announce the death of Bridget A. Miles (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 59. Bridget will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Bridget will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Bridget will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Bridget’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her brother Rufus E. Roberson; and her stepfather Earnest Harrelson. She is survived by: her husband Chris Graves; her daughter Geneva Weatherford of Burlington; her grandchildren, Malchi and Julian; her mother Rejoyce Roberson of Burlington; and her brothers, Patrick Roberson (Bennett) of Kernersville and Dexter Roberson of Burlington. She is also survived by three aunts; four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
