We announce the death of Cassie Victoria Ebert (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 34. Cassie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Linda King, Martha Ebert and Paul Ebert. She is survived by: her parents, Dave Randall Ebert (Lisa) and Tracey King Rice (Barney); her grandfather Bobby King (Kum); her siblings, Caroline Ebert and Chase Ebert (Caroline); her siblings-in-law, Brent, Jennifer Rice, Anna and Justin Foutz; and her nieces and nephews, Colton James Ebert, Cooper Amelia Ebert, Cohen Chase Ebert, Brayden, Avery Palmer and Everett Hayes Rice. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Long's Chapel Christian Church (2364 State Hwy 49, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
