She was predeceased by: her parents, Major B. Thompson and Sarah Leigh Thompson; her spouse Eddie Wise Loyd; her children, Elsie Mae Emory, Carolyn Anne Oakley, Eddie Wilson Loyd, Ernest Wise Loyd and Lacy Reid Loyd; and her siblings, Ruby Walton, Elwood, George, Roy Thompson and Danny Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Rosie Dye (George), Sue Simpson, Pattie Jane Mathis, Deroy Loyd (Linda) and Donald Edward "Donnie" Loyd; her sister Becky Creed; and her son-in-law Lialo. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
