It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Eugene Lashley of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Graham Lashley and Lucille Hill Lashley; his daughter Karen Denise Lashley; his grandson Craig Randall Glenn; and his brother James Wesley Lashley.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Gentry Lashley; his daughter Elaine Lashley Glenn (Craig) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua Glenn and Melissa Glenn; his great grandchildren, Karter Diggs and Adaliyah Diggs; and his stepchildren, Cecila Smith (Michael) of Cedar Grove, Trudy Underwood (Darryl) of Hillsborough, Richard Bowen (Janie) of Blues Creek and Tim Bowen of Roxboro. He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren.
