He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lester and Ida May Wood Bruner; and his siblings, Lester Bruner, Winford Bruner, Smith Wayne Bruner, John Henry Bruner, J. B. Bruner, Bobby Bruner, Harold Burner, Sally Eden and Betty Bruner-Love.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Bruner (Michelle), Elizabeth, Sarah of Cary, NC., Melissa Rimmer (Brad) of Burlington, NC., Traci Cook (Jason), Owen and Talan of Graham, NC.. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Charlie to the Durham VA Medical Center at 508 Fulton Street, Durham NC 27705, the American Red Cross or your favorite charity.
