He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly CliftonTrotter and Nettie Lee Trotter; his siblings, Clifton, Earlie, Johnny, Roger, Emory and Mary Burris; and his grandson Gearld Armari Trotter.
He is survived by: his children, Reed Trotter, Gregory Trotter, Dr. Crystal King (Elder Derek), Kourtney Royster and Wayne Trotter. He is also survived by his five granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Mill Hill Missionary Baptist Church (1635 Mill Hill Rd, Roxboro, NC 27574). Due to COVID-19 AND OTHER VIRUSES FACE MASK are advised for ervices.
