It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Starnes (Burlington, North Carolina), born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jay Christopher Starnes; his grandfather James Kirby Patterson; his stepgrandfather Charles Edward Stowe; and his grandmother Louise Starnes. He is survived by: his parent Barrie Frances Edwards; his daughter Makalah Leigh Starnes of Gastonia; his grandson Adonis Angelo Ayerdis; his siblings, Matthew Brice Starnes of Winston Salem, Thomas Martin McDaniel of Kings Mountain, Blakeney James Edwards (Jordan) of Richmond, Brandon William Edwards (Devan) of St. Louis Missouri and Christian Amber Robb (Geoff) of Richmond, Virginia; his grandmother Brenda Stowe of Fort Mill; his aunt Chris Robbins (Rob) of Texas; and his uncle Patrick Patterson (Lana) of Georgia. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
