She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie R. Watson and Mable Todd Watson; her brother James A Watson; and her husband Reverend Lawrence A. Walker. She is survived by: her children, Doris Walker Francis, Lawrence V. Walker and Kenneth A. Walker; and her grandchildren, Anita Thompson Michael Walker (Keith), Rondalyn Turner (Ricky), Lawrence Walker and Troy Walker.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217). A wake was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Matthews African Methodist Episcopal Church (1136 Apple St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
